Rebecca Ferguson and ten thousand people in a bunker with a secret. Three seasons deep, finale on 4 September. If you bailed early doors, get back in. It has done the work.
One Hundred Years of Solitude
The García Márquez adaptation ends for good on 26 August, so you can finally binge it without a cliffhanger ambush. Looks incredible, plays like a fever dream. Commit to the subtitles, it earns them.

Five seasons of grubby spies on Apple TV+, and season six lands 16 September. Best catch-up maths on the list: start tonight, be current in a month, then suffer weekly like everyone else.
Dates for the calendar
Lanterns, the new DC murder mystery with Kyle Chandler, starts 17 August on HBO Max, weekly. The Gentlemen season two is the big one: all eight episodes on 3 September. Slow Horses returns 16 September, and MobLand is back 18 September on Paramount+: Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan doing crime from Guy Ritchie's stable, and season one is worth knocking over again first. Then the footy takes over: the AFL finals open in the first week of September and the NRL finals follow, which is either the best fortnight of the year or the exact reason the non-footy half of the house needs this list.
