MatchWatch helps your partner, roommates, family or friends agree on a movie or TV show. Everyone swipes privately on the same deck. When enough people like the same title, it becomes a match and MatchWatch shows which selected service carries it.
Yes. There is no credit card, paid subscription or trial clock. MatchWatch sits on top of the streaming services you already use.
Yes. Create an account or sign in to your account before you finish setup, create a group or join someone else's group. Your account keeps your regions, services, swipes and watchlist together.
Create a group from Profile, then copy its eight-character invite code or send an email invitation with the invite link. Your roommate opens the link, creates or signs in to an account, and joins the group with the code.
Up to six people. MatchWatch works for couples, roommates, families and small friend groups, so the whole couch can swipe on its own phone.
No. Everyone swipes privately. In a two-person group, both people need to like a title. In a larger group, a title becomes a match when enough people in the group agree.
The current US setup covers Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV, Hulu, HBO Max, Peacock, Paramount+, Starz, AMC+, Discovery+, Tubi and MGM+. Choose only the services you actually use, then edit that list from Profile whenever it changes.
Yes. You can swipe on both. The US system uses movie ratings such as PG-13 and TV ratings such as TV-14 or TV-MA. MatchWatch uses those regional rating systems when it applies an under-18 age filter to the deck.
Yes. Open Mood and choose options such as Trending, Date Night, Funny, Scary, Family, Documentary, TV or Coming Soon. Clear the filter when you want the wider deck back.
Yes. Search for a title, open its details and choose Add to Watchlist. Your right swipes also appear under My Swipes, so a movie can stay on your list even when it is not the group's choice tonight.
Open Watchlist and choose My Swipes or Matched. Once that view has something to choose from, Pick for me selects one title from the available list. Useful when you already agreed on several options and started a second argument.
No. MatchWatch helps you decide what to watch and shows the streaming provider information available for the title. You then open the relevant service and press play there.
