BEEF
A road-rage encounter between two unhappy strangers becomes an escalating campaign that keeps damaging both of their lives. Steven Yeun and Ali Wong make the anger funny, painful and recognisable without asking the audience to endorse the choices. BEEF is the Netflix option for a room that wants sharp, adult drama and can cope with every possible off-ramp being ignored.
Reacher
A former military investigator arrives in trouble with no luggage and a highly developed ability to notice corruption. Each season gives Reacher a conspiracy to dismantle using careful deductions and less careful furniture handling. It is the Prime Video pick for direct action, clear villains and a lead who makes every doorway look as if it was built under protest.
Fallout
Two centuries after nuclear war, a sheltered vault dweller enters a wasteland where cheerful corporate design survived more successfully than social trust. Fallout is violent, funny and visually confident, with enough explanation for newcomers and enough detail for people who know the games. Choose it when the group wants large-scale science fiction with a genuinely odd sense of humour.
Which service should win tonight?
Disney+ has the easiest comedy and the broadest adventure. Netflix offers the newest franchise detour and the most uncomfortable adult drama. Prime Video supplies direct action and the biggest science-fiction world. That does not make any platform the permanent household champion. It simply gives each one a clear job on this particular list. Subscription value depends on what your room actually watches, not the total number of thumbnails a service can display.
